As a Gen Xer who I was born the year of the Roe v. Wade decision, I've heard from so many people my age and a older who grew up neglected or even abused. Sometimes they knew their family hadn't really wanted them. Some people even had mothers who blamed them for ruining their lives. But we never seem to talk about how many lives were damaged or ruined when abortion wasn't an option and birth control was harder to get.
