I live in an open-carry state. When I see a man carrying a gun into a grocery store or hardware store, I don't see a tough guy. I see a scared little boy who is so paranoid that he can't even go by toilet paper without bringing his gun with him.

Then I stop shopping at that store. Shopping local isn't worth risking my life. I'd rather shop on Amazon and have my stuff delivered. If local merchants want business, they need to ensure that their stores are safe places to shop. I don't shop in stores where there are armed men.
