I live in the next valley over from where Dylan Redwine was killed by his father during a visitation mandated by the courts. These family law cases are so hard. People I've known who work in Family Law or with the children from distressed families often seem to last about five years before they have to change their line of work. The search and then legal proceedings lasted about 9 years and were very difficult for the entire community, and of course all of it was extremely traumatic for his mother, brother, and other friends and families in both our area and in Colorado Springs.
