I was intrigued by the "I blame customers" part of your title and would have liked to get more about that in the article. As a teacher, I think our culture needs to re-adjust its norms about how we treat service employers and educators. We need to stop the culture of Karening and entitlement, and supervisors or bosses need to stop enabling that kind of behavior. Employers also need to improve their working conditions.
I posted yesterday about why, as a female former teacher and current college professor, I've found that I feel safer at home, partially because I don't have to deal with as much entitled and toxic behavior.
