Ironically, instead of asking, "how can I be desirable enough to date?" "How can I be the kind of man women want for a partner?" and "How can I prepare to be a good father so that women will want to have children with me? Men are saying, "Let's take it back to the 1950s, when women HAD to marry us!" There are still plenty of women who want to date men with decent hygiene and social skills who are prepared to be good husbands and fathers. But even when they're facing a shortage of women willing to compromise for less, it seems like a lot of men are "rebelling" against these "unreasonable" (actually very reasonable) expectations instead of trying to rise to the task.
