Let's take it further:

1) mandatory reversible vasectomies for every boy who hits puberty. It can only be reversed when he is married, has demonstrated the ability to care for a child financially and emotionally, and his wife has discussed it with his doctor while he sits on the examination table and then signed a medical form for him allowing the vasectomy to be reversed.

2) Only women should be allowed to own and use guns. Men claim that they "need" guns to protect their homes and families, but women are more likely to be at home and with the children, so why not just have her carry the gun? Also, since the biggest threat to women is men, it would just make sense to have women be armed so they can protect THEMSELVES (instead of relying on men to protect them), and so that men at least can't pose an armed threat to each other or to women. Women are also less likely to have a testosterone surge or something and use their guns to be unnecessarily aggressive. Also, if we make guns a "woman's thing," like tampons or cleaning supplies (make them pink or bedazzled if necessary), then men won't think guns are cool anymore. After a decade or two men will outright refuse to even pick up a gun.
