This article is accurate, but it goes beyond this. Narcissists are good at weaponizing the legal system against their victims. They know how to pull strings and manipulate systems. They will use every passive-aggressive trick in the book. Plus they are experts at playing the victim and making their targets out to be the aggressor and the real problem.

Many people have written that if you are trying to divorce a narcissist -- or dealing with some other legal issue with them -- get a lawyer. Then document EVERYTHING and keep impeccable records.

Then prepare yourself for endless cycles of documents that weren't signed, papers that got "lost," missed appointments, agreements that were put in writing but then were summarily "forgotten" or "misinterpreted," sabotage, presenting false information in court, etc., etc.
