Who are we kidding? This in't an "anxiety" issue. This is that a lot of men (I can't speak for women) use dating apps to browse around, check out their options, and text with even though they're already in a committed relationship. As soon as you bring up meeting for a date, they'll either keep up with the noncommittal texting or just ghost. It's like going to a restaurant and taking up the waitress' time by asking a bunch of questions about every item on the menu and then saying, "Oh, well I'm on a diet, so I can't order any of this."
